Peanut Allergy

The complex issue of peanut allergy was started in 1998, and it has been found that peanut allergy is mostly common in kids. The food of peanut belongs to its biological family legumes which includes peas, beans, lentils and vegetables gums. Peanut allergy is more serious than other food allergies, like wheat and cow milk. Approximately more than 70% people have been reacted by the peanut allergy. There is no a proper treatment of peanut allergy, but simple treatment is to avoid peanuts. It not only means to avoid peanuts, but it also means to avoid peanut when it is mixed in foods. Peanut allergy affects more than 1.5 million people in United States, every year.

There are many symptoms, which can be seen of peanut food allergy. Almost all the peanut allergy symptoms in the people occur within a few minutes to an hour of eating a peanut or nut. Another great symptom of peanut is that, initially the person feels an itching and difficulty swallowing and breathing. Most of the popular peanut or nut symptoms are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain.

According to new research, peanut allergy affects approximately 1.5 million people in the United States. And this allergy occurs in summer or hot seasons as compared to winter seasons. About 80% of people are suffering with peanut allergies in United States and 43% are suffering in other countries of the world. No proper treatment has been launched yet, but you can reduce your risk of having an allergic reaction to peanuts by knowing about peanut allergy, as much as you can.

If you have any reaction to peanuts, then you should immediately tell your doctor about it, no matter how mild the reaction may have been. After consulting with doctor, there might be some tests which can help diagnose peanut allergy. So you can take steps to avoid future and potentially worse reactions. If you have some serious peanut allergies, then there might be some medications assigned to you for use.

There is a lot of difference between peanut allergy and peanut intolerance, and sometimes it can be difficult to know whether you are allergic or intolerant to peanuts. But a doctor can easily diagnose after some recommend tests that with what kind of problem or allergy, you are suffering.
